Client request: The client, a young family with multiple children, requested a design focused on maximizing the central zone of the villa—where the family spends the most time together. They wanted an open, welcoming space for family gatherings, meals, and relaxation, while ensuring that the design would be both functional and aesthetically pleasing.
Completed project stages:
Expansion of living area: The living room was extended by incorporating the terrace space to provide a larger area for family activities.
Designing the dual living zones: The room was divided into two distinct living areas—one for quiet relaxation and the other, with panoramic windows, for socializing with family and guests.
Kitchen and dining area: A kitchen island with a bar and wine fridge was installed, as well as a dining table for 10 people, creating a large and functional dining area.
Technical spaces: Behind a hidden kitchen door, a staff kitchen and technical spaces, including a laundry and staff rooms, were added.
Challenges solved:
Creating a harmonious balance between aesthetics and functionality, using calm natural tones such as light stone flooring, oak veneer finishes, and beige textiles.
Designing furniture and layout to maximize comfort and utility, with custom furniture pieces like the solid wood dining table serving as a centerpiece.
Ensuring that the villa’s minimalistic yet elegant design included smart storage solutions, with all storage spaces hidden behind minimalist facades to maintain a clean, organized appearance.
