Location: MBR City, District 11, Nad Al Sheba, Dubai
Area: 540 m²
Client request: The client wanted a visually appealing and luxurious design for the CAPELLA villa, achieved through the thoughtful contrast of materials, while still maintaining a minimalist approach. The design needed to balance subtlety with vibrant focal points to create a lively yet refined atmosphere.
Completed project stages:
Material selection: We carefully chose two shades for the flooring and a consistent veneer throughout the villa, complemented by light colors for the walls, textiles, and furniture.
Accents and contrast: Bright, noble colors were introduced to act as focal points, enhancing the vibrancy of the neutral base materials.
Finishing touches: Glossy materials such as glass, fabric panels, brushed brass, and marble were used sparingly to add sophistication and refinement to the space.
Space planning and ergonomics: The layout was meticulously designed to prioritize ergonomic solutions, ensuring that the villa is both aesthetically pleasing and comfortable for everyday living.
Challenges solved:
Balancing a minimalist design with eye-catching contrasts using a limited color and material palette.
Creating focal points without overwhelming the space.
Ensuring that the villa’s layout is functional and comfortable while maintaining a visually stunning appearance.
