Common Areas for Opus
Design Project:
Common Areas for Opus Residential Complex
Location:
Moscow
Area:
1036 m²
Client Request:
The client did not have specific requirements beyond a focus on the architecture and the advantageous location of the site. Our studio aimed to create a design that conveys comfort and inspiration in commercial spaces, ensuring that every area feels welcoming and functional.
Completed Project Stages:
- Concept Development: Developed a design that emphasizes monumentality and tranquility. We utilized arched forms as a symbol of strength and reliability, ensuring that the common areas provide a sense of stability and comfort.
- Architectural Integration: Adapted the design to enhance the building's overall structure, emphasizing the connection between different areas and ensuring smooth transitions throughout the space.
- Interior Design: Created inviting spaces that incorporate natural materials, such as stone and deep-toned wood, along with brass, copper, and bronze finishes. The warm color palette fosters a homely atmosphere, allowing visitors to relax and unwind.
Challenges Solved:
- Site Utilization: Effectively utilized the project's location to enhance the atmosphere, integrating the surrounding environment into the design to create a cohesive experience.
- Client’s Vision: Developed a unique concept from minimal client input by interpreting their preferences and focusing on a design that aligns with the overall architecture.
- Thematic Consistency: Ensured that the design elements across the common areas maintain a cohesive theme, balancing functionality with aesthetic appeal to create a luxurious and inviting atmosphere.
